Friday’s Fast Five: Etsy Apps

on Sep 16th, 2011 | in Fast Five | 1 Comment

Etsy has been working to provide sellers with tools, but they’ve also opened up their data for Etsy Apps to fill in the gaps. These seller tools can provide insights, alerts and analysis of your shop.

The CraftCult Treasury Widget will embed a treasury box on your website or blog. Enter an Etsy username and choose lists made by that user or featuring that user. The treasuries can be dynamic, which changes as the treasury items sell and change, or a snapshot that won’t change even if an item sells.

Etsy Text sends you a text message when you make a sale. Simple and straightforward, but no less handy. Never feel guilty about stepping away from the computer again.

Check how much money you actually made in a month. Moneybox.me auto-applies PayPal and Etsy fees and tracks your expenses, so you’ll know how much you’re spending on your business.

Etsy On Sale is a simple way to manage and promote discounts for your Etsy shop. Easily create automated sales events, edit all your Etsy tags at once and automatically renew your shop listings.

CraftCult makes another appearance with Heart-o-matic. See who favorited your shop and items at a glance, and be sure to check out the Heart Charts to see your Etsy love over time!

Do you have any seller tools you can’t live without? How about ideas for apps that don’t exist? Let’s spread some ideas and help our fellow Etsyians. Please leave a comment below.
